Your Role

We’re looking for a Sales Data Analyst who’s proactive, curious, and motivated to move beyond standard reporting, bringing creativity and ownership to how insights are generated and delivered. You will work at the intersection of Sales, Data Science, and Customer Engagement, helping translate complex datasets into actionable insights. You will collaborate with Sales, Data Science and Engineering teams to elevate how data is used in customer conversations which will have a direct impact on customer outcomes, Sales effectiveness, and overall business strategy. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Sales teams to develop and deliver tailored, customer-facing data analyses and presentations that support deal progression and customer decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights and narratives.
  • Conduct deep-dive, customer-specific analyses to identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities beyond standard reporting outputs.
  • Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools to streamline recurring analyses and reduce manual effort.
  • Participate in customer calls and internal strategy sessions to provide data-driven perspectives and answer technical or analytical questions.
  • Establish and maintain feedback loops with Sales and customers to continuously improve the quality, clarity, and impact of data outputs.
  • Support broader Sales and Marketing initiatives through exploratory analyses that inform go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
  • Work closely with the Data Science team to leverage advanced methodologies, improve analytical frameworks, and expand the organization’s data capabilities.
  • Coordinate with product and engineering teams to identify and resolve anomalies, issues and patterns seen in customer data.
  • Contribute to ongoing development of tools, processes, and best practices that enhance how data is utilized across the organization.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a similar role, preferably in a customer-facing or revenue-support environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and/or SQL for data analysis, with experience working in tools such as Jupyter notebooks or similar environments.
  • Experience building dashboards or visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to conduct exploratory and one-off analyses.
  • Experience with automation of reporting workflows and data pipelines is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly curious, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in both technical and customer-facing discussions.

Pay Range: $115,000 - $135,000

*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.

**Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, stipends, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and long-term disability insurance.
