Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and goal-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team and help drive new business growth across the US and Canada markets. In this full-time, remote role, you’ll focus on high-volume outbound prospecting, researching prospective customers and developing personalised outreach to identify and qualify new sales opportunities. You’ll play an important part in building our sales pipeline, scheduling meetings for the Sales team, and sharing valuable market feedback to help optimise our sales and marketing approach.

Requirements:

Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Drive new business through high-volume outbound prospecting activities.
  • Research prospective customers, industries, and market trends to create highly personalised and relevant communications.
  • Engage with prospects through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Consistently work towards weekly and monthly outbound activity targets.

Opportunity Qualification & Meeting Scheduling

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
  • Schedule meetings for the Sales team and support the development of the sales pipeline.
  • Meet or exceed activity and appointment-setting goals.
  • Help ensure scheduled meetings convert into qualified sales opportunities.

CRM & Sales Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect, opportunity, and activity records in the CRM.
  • Ensure prospect and opportunity data remains complete, accessible, and current.
  • Support accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting through effective CRM administration.

Relationship Building & Collaboration

  • Build strong, professional relationships with prospective customers through effective communication and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure a smooth hand-off of qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain a focus on the quality and readiness of opportunities passed to the Sales team.

Market Feedback & Marketing Optimisation

  • Provide relevant market and prospect feedback to the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to review and optimise messaging and positioning.
  • Share actionable insights to help improve sales processes, messaging relevance, and prospect engagement.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Actively role-model, support, and contribute to Modus Create’s company values.
  • Attend industry events and conferences as required to support sales programmes and lead generation efforts.
  • Undertake other duties as required in line with the evolving needs of the business.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an SDR, inside sales, or business development role is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the software and technology sector is preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Experience using a CRM system is preferred.
Bonus points:
  • Relevant sales or CRM certifications, such as HubSpot certifications.
  • Previous experience working with HubSpot CRM.
  • Additional experience in software, technology, or digital services environments.A
