Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-directed Sales Development Representative to help accelerate Noonlight's growth. The mission is to fill the top of the sales funnel with quality opportunities, and do it with urgency, consistency, and hunger This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-autonomy, high-accountability environment and enjoys building, not just executing. You'll be responsible for generating qualified pipeline through a combination of inbound lead qualification, strategic outbound prospecting, and thoughtful account research across key industries including IoT, commercial and residential security, healthcare, and smart home technology.

The ideal candidate takes ownership of their results, is naturally curious, and is motivated to continuously improve their craft. You'll work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Customer Success to refine messaging, identify new opportunities, and help shape the future of Noonlight's go-to-market strategy. If you're someone who embraces feedback, proactively solves problems, and wants to make a measurable impact at a fast-growing technology company, we'd love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Develop a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound sales qualification, and social selling. Collaborate with account executives and marketing to craft effective outbound messaging.
  • Account Research & Personalization: Research target accounts and buying personas to deliver personalized outreach that resonates with executive decision-makers.
  • Meeting Qualification: Conduct discovery conversations that qualify opportunities against Noonlight's ideal customer profile before handing them to Account Executives.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives and Marketing to refine messaging, improve outbound campaigns, and share market feedback that strengthens Noonlight's go-to-market strategy.
  • CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate CRM data and activity while ensuring every prospect interaction is documented and actionable.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Noonlight’s platform, integrations, and use cases. Work closely with account executives and product teams to address technical requirements that generate high-quality pipeline in the deal funnel.
  • Quota Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline generation targets.

What Defines SDR Success at Noonlight:
At Noonlight, we’re passionate about creating a culture where innovation, collaboration, and a positive attitude thrive. As a growing startup, we believe that every team member plays a critical role in shaping our future. The ideal candidate will:

  • Extreme Ownership: You take responsibility for your pipeline, your activity, and your results. You don't wait to be told what to do next, you identify problems, propose solutions, and follow through. When something isn't working, your first instinct is to ask yourself, "What can I own and improve?"
  • Self-Directed Execution: You prioritize your work effectively, manage competing priorities, and consistently execute without daily direction. You build structure into your day and hold yourself accountable for the activities that drive results.
  • Continuous Improvement: You're naturally curious. You look for ways to improve messaging, prospecting strategies, qualification processes, and CRM workflows. Rather than simply executing a process, you're motivated to make the process better.
  • Resilience: You recognize that prospecting comes with rejection. Rather than becoming discouraged, you learn from each interaction, maintain a positive attitude, and consistently show up with energy and professionalism.
  • Coachability: Proactively seeks out feedback and applies coaching immediately. Continuously develops new skills.
  • Builder Mentality: As an early member of a growing go-to-market team, you'll have the opportunity—and expectation—to help improve our prospecting strategies, messaging, qualification process, and sales playbooks. We value people who leave processes better than they found them.
  • Team First: Shares wins, learns from losses, and helps teammates succeed. Contributes ideas that improve the entire sales organization.
