Are you an experienced SDR looking for more than just another prospecting job?

We're building the next generation of go-to-market leadership in the public safety technology industry and are looking for a high-performing Sales Development Representative who wants to accelerate their career. This is not simply an SDR role—it's an opportunity to become a future Account Executive and potentially help build and lead our SDR organization as we grow.

If you're motivated by career advancement, enjoy creating opportunities from outbound prospecting, and want to work in a fast-growing SaaS company serving state and local government agencies, we'd like to hear from you.

Important: This Is NOT an Entry-Level Sales Position

We are specifically seeking candidates who have prior Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) experience.

Candidates without previous SDR/BDR experience are unlikely to be a fit for this role.

What You'll Do
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting

  • Research and identify prospective SLED (State & Local Government) agencies

  • Execute strategic outreach using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other sales engagement tools

  • Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for the sales team

  • Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline activity

  • Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and opportunity creation goals

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to improve messaging and campaign effectiveness

  • Continuously learn our solutions and communicate technical concepts clearly to prospective customers

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an SDR or BDR with measurable success

  • Experience prospecting into B2B organizations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Experience using CRM platforms and modern sales engagement/outreach tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable learning technical software solutions and communicating value to customers

Preferred Qualifications
  • SaaS sales experience

  • SLED (State & Local Government) sales experience

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience

  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and modern sales engagement platforms

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in sales, business, or marketing

Career Growth

This role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term sales career.

High performers will have opportunities to:

  • Advance into an Account Executive role within approximately 12–24 months

  • Help build processes for a growing SDR organization

  • Move into SDR leadership as we expand the team

  • Develop expertise in one of the fastest-growing sectors of enterprise SaaS serving public safety agencies

Who Will Thrive Here

You'll likely be successful if you are:

  • Competitive and driven

  • Curious and coachable

  • Resilient and persistent

  • Process-oriented and accountable

  • Comfortable working with metrics and performance goals

  • Excited by the opportunity to build something, not simply maintain it

If you've already proven yourself as an SDR and are looking for the opportunity to accelerate your career in a growing SaaS company, we'd love to talk.
