About LiveKit

LiveKit is the default infrastructure layer for real-time AI, the platform that gives AI the ability to see, hear, and speak. From powering voice for millions of ChatGPT users to enabling drone teleoperation at Skydio and serving as the backbone for roughly 25% of 911 emergency calls in the U.S., LiveKit handles the real-time media layer that production AI applications depend on.

Over 300,000 developers and 5,000+ companies from leading AI labs to Fortune 500 enterprises run production workloads on LiveKit. We've raised $181M from investors including Index Ventures, Altimeter Capital, and Salesforce Ventures, and we're growing fast. Now we're building the sales team to match.

About This Role

We're hiring an Enterprise SDR to drive top-of-funnel pipeline for our enterprise sales motion. You'll be the first impression LiveKit makes on engineering leaders, product organizations, and AI/ML teams at companies building the next generation of voice and multimodal AI applications.

This is not a boilerplate SDR role. Our buyers are technical staff engineers, heads of infrastructure, VP-level AI product leaders and they can smell a templated sequence from a mile away. You'll need to understand what LiveKit actually does, why developers reach for it over rolling their own WebRTC stack, and how to translate that into compelling, relevant outreach for each account you work.

You'll partner closely with our enterprise AEs and work directly with sales and marketing leadership tto sharpen messaging and positioning as we scale our GTM functions.

What You'll Do
  • Own outbound pipeline generation targeting Fortune 2000 accounts across key verticals: including healthcare, financial services, and technology companies.

  • Partner tightly with enterprise AEs on account strategy you'll co-own named accounts, align on entry points, and run coordinated multi-threaded plays to break into large organizations

  • Research target accounts to craft highly personalized, technically credible outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone

  • Book discovery calls and product demos for enterprise AEs; provide full context so they walk in sharp and prepared

  • Work closely with the broader GTM org marketing, solutions engineering, and product on campaign strategy, ICP refinement, and feedback loops that sharpen our enterprise motion

  • Surface market intelligence back to the product and GTM teams as you're often the first to hear what buyers care about

  • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline targets

Who You Are
  • 1–3 years of SDR or BDR experience, ideally at a developer tools, infrastructure, or voice AI company

  • Genuine curiosity about technology; you don't need to write code, but you should be able to hold an intelligent conversation about why a company might choose a managed WebRTC platform over a self-hosted stack

  • Strong written communication - you know the difference between an email that gets deleted and one that gets a reply

  • Experience with sales engagement tools and Salesforce

  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota

  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where the playbook is still being written and flexibility is required

Nice to Have
  • Background selling to engineering, DevOps, or AI/ML teams

  • Familiarity with voice AI, real-time communications, or WebRTC concepts

  • Experience at an open-source company with a PLG motion - you understand what it means when a developer has been building with your product for 6 months before the first sales conversation

  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate prospecting and personalization at scale

Why LiveKit
  • Enormous market. Real-time AI is becoming a requirement for nearly every enterprise application. We're the infrastructure layer, and we're well ahead of the field.

  • Incredible developer traction. Our sales team doesn't cold-call strangers they engage with a community that already loves the product.

  • Technical credibility. You'll sell something that engineers respect. That matters if you care about representing products you believe in.

  • Trajectory. This is a ground-floor opportunity on an enterprise sales team at a company with serious investor backing, strong revenue growth, and the reference customers to close big deals.

Our Commitment to You
  • Competitive comp: Base + uncapped commission + equity. We want SDRs who want to win.

  • An opportunity to build something truly impactful to the world

  • Contribute to open source alongside world-class engineers

  • Competitive salary and equity package

  • Health, dental, and vision benefits

  • Flexible vacation policy
