Who We Are

Prophet Security provides an AI-driven platform that directly tackles the biggest problem in security operations: alert overload. Founded by industry veterans from Mandiant, Expel, and Red Canary, our technology automates alert triage and investigation, enabling security teams to achieve faster, more reliable results with fewer resources. As a fast-scaling Series A company, we’re seeing strong customer adoption and outstanding feedback on our platform’s real-world impact.

The Role

This is a critical role on an early-stage go-to-market team. You will be instrumental in building and executing our outbound sales strategy, specifically targeting enterprise security leaders. As an early team member, your direct input on messaging and process will help us set a sustainable, repeatable standard for sales excellence as we grow rapidly.

What You’ll Do
  • Launch high-impact, targeted outbound campaigns to connect with security decision-makers at target accounts.

  • Manage and qualify inbound leads quickly and efficiently, moving strong candidates into the sales pipeline.

  • Utilize modern, AI-powered sales tools to research accounts, identify key contacts, and personalize outreach.

  • Contribute to a tight feedback-loop between sales, marketing, and product to ensure our positioning and product roadmap remain aligned with customer needs.

  • Contribute directly to the scaling of our sales playbook by identifying and implementing process improvements.

What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a similar prospecting role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.

  • A practical understanding of the security or technical buyer. Experience connecting with CISOs, VPs of Security, or Security Operations Managers is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of how artificial intelligence (AI) is being applied within Security Operations teams. Bonus: Familiarity with how Security Operations teams utilize Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).

  • Familiarity with standard sales technology (CRM, outreach platforms) and an interest in leveraging new AI-powered tools to increase efficiency.

  • A track record of success in meeting or exceeding pipeline generation targets.

  • Resourcefulness and adaptability—you thrive in an environment where you are building processes, not just following them.

Our Culture

Our employees are recognized as our top asset and we provide great benefits, meaningful equity participation, as well as a fun and inspiring environment to create and collaborate.

  • Customer Centricity: Focus on exceeding customer expectations and placing them at the core of decisions

  • Practicality over Perfection: Emphasis on efficient solutions and agile decision-making

  • Strive for Excellence: Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement

  • Transparent Communication: Encouragement of open, honest dialogue and collaborative trust

  • Unwavering Resilience: Determination to overcome challenges and persist in achieving goals

  • Have Fun: Foster a positive work environment that balances hard work with enjoyment and creativity

Environment

Prophet Security takes pride in being an equal-opportunity employer. We value a diverse and global talent pool and the collaboration that results from having a diverse and inclusive team. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. Our hiring decisions are based exclusively on merit, qualifications, and business needs.
