We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Sales team. The SDR will play a key role in expanding Percepto’s client base by identifying and generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to target enterprise prospects and introduce them to Percepto’s autonomous inspection and monitoring solutions.

 What will you be doing? As a Sales Development Representative at Percepto, you’ll be central to our growth and the first point of contact with our customers. You’ll be responsible for identifying potential new customers through research, making initial communication via email or phone, qualifying and passing the lead on to our Sales Team, and assisting with pipeline fulfillment. You’ll be expected to develop ongoing product knowledge and market awareness and act as a trusted advisor to the people you talk to. You should be seen as an expert who can help organizations solve their challenges.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys building relationships, and is eager to kickstart a career in sales. You will have the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 clients and be part of a dynamic team that is changing the future of industrial operations.

You’ll be provided full training on all aspects of the business, the products, and the services offered, and most importantly, you’ll learn a ton about UAS, FAA regulations, software, robotics, AI, and more.

This role is based in Austin, TX, and is open to hybrid work.

  • Experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B or technology environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone, email, and social media
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn about technology solutions, especially in drones and AI
  • Ability to research, identify, and target potential business opportunities
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points and requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesloft ) is a plus
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Strong analytical thinker
  • Ability to promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
  • Willingness to grow within the Sales organization and take on additional responsibilities
  • Open to travel up to 10% of the time
