About k-ID

k-ID is the global leader in privacy-first compliance and age verification infrastructure. Recognized as one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025, named a Tech Pioneer by the World Economic Forum and a winner of Fast Company’s Next Big Things in Tech, we are building the Age Layer for the internet—the fundamental infrastructure that allows digital platforms to verify age and manage compliance globally without friction.
Our core platform, anchored by the Compliance Development Kit (CDK) and AgeKit, is the trusted engine for the world’s largest game publishers and digital ecosystems. We replace fragmented, manual compliance with a unified API that handles age verification, parental consent, and regulatory logic across 200+ markets. Backed by top-tier venture capital firms like a16z and Lightspeed, k-ID is entering a phase of growth to define the standard for global digital safety.

About The Role

k-ID is hiring a Business Intelligence Lead to turn platform data into clear insights, sharp KPI narratives, and commercial advantage.

This role sits within the Revenue organization and partners closely with Data and Design inside PDE. The mandate is not just reporting. It is to build the data driven story that helps k-ID win new business, grow existing accounts, answer client questions before they are asked, and strengthen our market leadership through differentiated insight.

You will work across sales, account management, product, data, and marketing to identify the signals that matter, package them into compelling narratives, and deliver them internally and externally. You will help the Revenue team operate with more precision, support client conversations with credible and proactive analysis, and make k-ID more defensible and more valuable in the eyes of customers, prospects, and the market.

This is a client facing role. You will be expected to contribute to QBRs, strategic customer conversations, and external thought leadership where data and storytelling can help move the business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the development of KPI frameworks, dashboards, and insight narratives that support revenue growth across new and existing accounts

  • Translate platform and customer data into actionable commercial insights that help the Revenue team identify expansion opportunities, upsell moments, retention risks, and proof points for prospects

  • Build clear and compelling data backed narratives for use in sales cycles, account reviews, executive briefings, and strategic customer conversations

  • Partner with Account Management and Sales to proactively answer client questions around usage, performance, engagement, outcomes, and value realization

  • Support QBR preparation and, where needed, join customer meetings to present findings, trends, and recommendations in a polished and credible way

  • Work closely with Data and Design in PDE to ensure insights are accurate, well structured, visually strong, and easy for internal and external audiences to understand

  • Identify patterns and benchmarks across the platform that can be used to differentiate k-ID from competitors and strengthen our market story

  • Help Marketing and Leadership turn proprietary data into external thought leadership, market education, and category defining narratives

  • Drive consistency in how commercial metrics are defined, interpreted, and communicated across Revenue and the broader company

  • Surface emerging questions, risks, and opportunities from customer and prospect conversations and help shape the next generation of dashboards, reporting, and analysis

Minimum Qualifications
  • 6 plus years of experience in business intelligence, revenue analytics, strategy, insights, sales operations, or a similar role in a B2B SaaS or technology environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in gaming, trust and safety, digital platforms, compliance technology, or other data rich platform businesses

  • Experience participating in QBRs, enterprise client meetings, or executive level customer conversations

  • Strong familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, or equivalent

  • Comfort working with SQL and partnering closely with data teams to shape analysis and reporting logic

  • Strong instinct for identifying what makes a data story commercially useful, defensible, and externally compelling

  • Experience turning internal data into market facing content such as benchmarks, trend reports, insight led campaigns, or category narratives

  • Experience in a startup or scale up environment where the role requires both strategy and execution

BenefitsCompetitive Salary
  • A competitive startup salary aligned with experience and market benchmarks.

  • Comprehensive family health coverage, including medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • Provided Mental Health and Wellness support benefit

  • Hands on exposure with key clients in a scaling global tech company

  • Opportunities for continuous learning through real ownership rather than formal training alone.

  • Direct collaboration with the Founders and the tech leadership team

Culture and Ways of Working
  • A collaborative, inclusive and low politics work environment.

  • Flexible, trust based working culture shaped by a US startup operating model.

  • A mission driven company focused on improving online experiences for kids and teens globally.
