Fueling your passion

The Sales Director, Americas is responsible for driving profitable growth, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction across the region for the Industrial Computed Tomography portfolio, including equipment, software, services, and aftermarket solutions.

Reporting to the Global Sales Director, this role leads a multidisciplinary team of Sales Managers and Application Engineers to develop strategic customer relationships, identify market opportunities, manage complex technical sales cycles, and deliver sustainable revenue growth. The Sales Director serves as a key member of the global commercial leadership team and acts as the voice of the customer within the business.

The role requires a strong blend of commercial leadership, technical understanding, strategic account management, and organizational leadership.

As a Sales Director - Sales, you will be responsible for:

Commercial Leadership

  • Developing and executing the regional growth strategy for North America & Latam.
  • Delivering annual orders, revenue, margin, and operating plan commitments.
  • Driving pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, opportunity management, and sales execution.
  • Leading strategic account planning for key customers in aerospace, automotive, electronics, battery manufacturing, energy, research, and industrial manufacturing.
  • Managing and coaching Sales Managers to achieve business objectives and accelerate commercial effectiveness.
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities, channels, and partnerships.
  • Supporting pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Leading executive-level customer engagement and escalation management.

Technical Sales & Application Engineering Leadership

  • Ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and application engineering resources.
  • Driving conversion of application studies into commercial opportunities.
  • Championing customer-focused solution selling by combining hardware, software, and service offerings.
  • Ensuring technical differentiation of Industrial CT solutions against competitive offerings.

Business Management

  • Own regional forecasting, business reviews, and commercial operating rhythm.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitive activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Service, Operations, and Marketing teams.
  • Provide regional input into product roadmap and innovation priorities.
  • Drive adoption of CRM tools, sales processes, and standard work.

People Leadership

  • Recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing commercial and technical talent.
  • Establishing a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Coaching Sales Managers and Application Engineers through regular performance reviews and development planning.
  • Fostering collaboration across global commercial teams and functional organizations.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Business, or related field.
  • Have a minimum 10 years of experience in industrial B2B sales, business development, or commercial leadership.
  • Have a minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing sales teams.
  • Have demonstrated experience leading complex capital equipment sales.
  • Have experience with technical solution selling and consultative sales approaches.
  • Have proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding commercial targets.
  • Have strong financial and business acumen, including forecasting, pipeline management, and contract negotiations.
  • Have ability to travel extensively throughout North America and sometimes in Latin America.
  • Fluent in English.
