We’re seeking a Sales Director to own and scale our enterprise and mid-market motion. This is a front-line leadership role for someone who thrives on being in the deal - co-selling with their team, setting the pace on disciplined forecasting, and driving enterprise-grade sales execution. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, building a high-performing sales culture, and scaling a team that consistently wins in complex cycles. Leveraging the latest in AI-driven insights, you’ll coach, forecast, and replicate top-performer behaviors to accelerate growth and take Element451’s revenue engine to the next level.
What you’ll do:
Build, mentor, and lead a team of high-performing Account Executives, instilling a culture of accountability and excellence.
Empower sellers through data-driven coaching, real-time feedback, and use of AI insights to replicate top-performer behaviors.
Make critical hire/fire decisions, hold team members to clear performance standards, and ensure consistent sales execution.
Actively co-sell with AEs on complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise and mid-market deals.
Lead from the front in customer meetings, negotiations, and executive presentations.
Guide the team through structured methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger) to ensure consistency, predictability, and rigor in the sales cycle.
Develop and execute an enterprise and mid-market GTM strategy that aligns with ARR growth goals.
Drive pipeline discipline and enforce rigorous forecasting standards to ensure predictability.
Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap and GTM strategy.
Champion the use of AI-driven insights to improve messaging, accelerate onboarding, and optimize team performance.
Analyze win/loss data, customer interactions, and performance trends to diagnose what’s working and what’s not.
Use data to improve sales behaviors, shorten ramp time, and increase overall deal velocity.
Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to align execution and deliver a seamless customer experience.
Serve as a point of escalation and trusted executive counterpart for clients and internal stakeholders alike.
7+ years of SaaS sales experience, with proven success in enterprise and mid-market segments.
3+ years of sales management experience, including building, coaching, and scaling teams.
Strong track record co-selling and leading teams through complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
Mastery of forecasting, quota management, and pipeline accuracy.
Deep knowledge of enterprise sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, etc.).
Comfort with AI-driven sales tools and the ability to integrate data-driven coaching into daily team management.
Strong executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; Higher Education experience a plus.
