We are looking for an experienced, high-energy, and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and scale all sales activities across the United States territory. The ideal candidate is a strong sales leader with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, building high-performing sales teams, driving new business, and leading complex enterprise sales cycles in fast-growing technology markets.

As the Director of Sales – USA, you will have direct and immediate impact on the company’s success by owning the regional sales strategy, bookings targets, pipeline generation, customer acquisition, and overall sales execution across the US market. You will lead the US sales organization, manage strategic customer relationships, and drive opportunities from prospecting through deal closing and long-term account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and exceed annual bookings and revenue targets across the United States territory
  • Lead and scale all sales activities across the US market, including territory planning, pipeline generation, and strategic account development
  • Build, hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, including coaching, performance management, and team development
  • Drive new customer acquisition while expanding existing strategic accounts and long-term customer relationships
  • Lead complex enterprise B2B and B2G sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation, deal closing, and repeat business
  • Own forecasting, pipeline visibility, KPI reporting, and CRM management across the region
  • Partner with global sales leadership to optimize sales execution, support regional growth objectives, and strengthen Quantum Machines’ presence in the US market
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to maximize customer success and revenue growth
  • Represent Quantum Machines at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events across the US territory
Requirements
  • 10+ years of proven experience in enterprise sales, strategic sales, or sales leadership within deep-tech, hardware, scientific, or complex technology environments
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets
  • Strong experience building pipeline, driving new business expansion, and closing large enterprise deals
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving technical stakeholders, procurement teams, and executive leadership
  • Experience building, managing, and scaling successful sales teams
  • Strong experience in B2B and/or B2G sales environments
  • Experience selling to research institutions, universities, academic labs, government organizations, or advanced technology sectors — a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and forecasting capabilities with experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Self-driven, hands-on, and highly collaborative leadership style
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, target-driven environments
  • Background in physics, electrical engineering, quantum technologies, or related scientific disciplines — an advantage
  • Understanding of quantum computing and quantum physics — a strong advantage
  • Based in the United States with willingness to travel frequently across the US
