Who We Are

Security teams are drowning in alerts, fragmented workflows, and tools that don’t talk to each
other. Adversaries are moving faster than ever, deploying ransomware or stealing data in hours
instead of days.Organizations don’t want more alerts. They want broad coverage without being limited by human time. They need systems that can recognize when something’s wrong, explain what happened, and guide them on what to do next.

Prophet Security is building an AI SOC platform to deliver exactly that. We bring reasoning, context, and consistency to every investigation and scale with the needs of the mission. Powered by large language models and decades of Security Operations experience, we help analysts investigate and respond at machine speed, transforming what SOCs can do today and redefining what’s possible tomorrow.

Who You Are

You’ve spent time in the trenches of security operations and can speak fluently about analyst workflows, investigative rigor, and operational reality. You’re comfortable engaging deeply technical audiences and hold your own in any “stump-the-chump” scenario – not because you know everything, but because you know how real SOCs work.

You thrive in high-impact customer-facing roles, enjoy owning complex technical evaluations, and take pride in helping customers truly understand why a solution works. You’re detail-oriented, execution-focused, and motivated by winning trust through technical excellence.

You’re a practitioner at heart, a storyteller when needed, and a trusted partner to account executives throughout the sales cycle.

Why You Matter

In the world of AI-driven security operations, trust is everything. As a Sales Engineer, you are often the first deep technical touchpoint for prospective customers. Your ability to clearly articulate value, validate real-world use cases, and guide successful evaluations directly impacts customer confidence and deal success. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading technical discovery to understand customer SOC environments, workflows, and challenges

  • Executing high-quality POVs/POCs that demonstrate clear value and operational impact

  • Serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle

  • Addressing technical objections and escalating complex issues when needed

  • Ensuring every evaluation reflects clarity, rigor, and a high bar for execution

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience as a technical seller with strong background in security operations

  • Hands-on experience running or supporting POV/POC engagements

  • Strong technical depth across SOC tooling, detection, investigation, and response workflows

  • A process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to move fluidly between deep technical validation and customer-facing storytelling

  • A bias toward action, ownership, and follow-through

Our Culture

We provide great benefits, meaningful equity, and a fun, inspiring environment. Our values are:

  • Customer Centricity: We place customers at the core of our decisions.

  • Practicality over Perfection: We value efficient solutions and agile decision-making.

  • Strive for Excellence: We are committed to high standards and continuous improvement.

  • Transparent Communication: We encourage open, honest dialogue and trust.

  • Have Fun: We foster a positive environment that balances hard work with enjoyment.

Environment

Prophet Security takes pride in being an equal-opportunity employer. We value a diverse and global talent pool and the collaboration that results from having a diverse and inclusive team. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. Our hiring decisions are based exclusively on merit, qualifications, and business needs.
