Job Description

Federal Sales Executive – Advanced Visualization & AI (Federal Government)

The Federal Sales Executive leads complex, high-value sales engagements within the U.S. Federal Government, driving growth across Advanced Visualization, Remote Operations Command Center, Artificial Intelligence, and emerging 4D solutions while building trusted, long-term customer partnerships.

Your role:

  • Drive pipeline, funnel, and order growth within the Federal Government segment, securing complex, high-stakes deals that deliver value for both customers and Philips.

  • Lead strategic negotiations and influence senior customer stakeholders, using data-driven insights to identify new opportunities and anticipate market shifts.

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing federal sales team by setting clear targets, coaching performance, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support, to execute strategic sales initiatives and deliver cohesive customer engagement.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans aligned to business objectives, ensuring compliance with corporate sales policies and government regulations.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, enterprise informatics, or a related field, including experience selling into the Federal Government market.

  • Your skills include advanced negotiation, account strategy, stakeholder management, sales funnel optimization, data analysis, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software; experience with Advanced Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, or clinical solutions is required.

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent.

  • You’re a strategic, influential leader with strong business acumen, comfortable navigating regulated environments, collaborating across teams, and driving continuous improvement to achieve ambitious growth goals.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $211,500 to $243,000 annually, plus company fleet/car.  Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance. 

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here.

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to the territory (Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, or St. Louis, MS).
