Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Purpose
● Execute Sales and Business Development activities in the United States and Canada.
● Develop and close new business opportunities, driving revenue and growth.
Role and Responsibilities
● Develop and manage new sales pursuits in energy markets.
● Develop and maintain professional relationships with key and strategic clients focused on power and electric utility companies.
● Build strategic company-to-company relationships with key decision makers.
● Manage targeted client accounts to leverage growth.
● Nurture long-term relationships to become client's "Trusted Advisor".
● Understand and articulate MWR’s value proposition, positioning us to take advantage of our clients' growth strategies.
● Work with senior MWR management to develop, prioritize, and implement market strategies and achieve market penetration.
● Pursue new market segments, business opportunities and initiatives.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with customer technical teams, IT directors, CTOs, and other senior technical stakeholders across multiple accounts.


Requirements

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience; Graduate degree is a plus.
● The position requires strong business development, client service, and technical experience, ideally with a background in utility solutions and integration. The position also requires a solid reputation in Power/Energy industry to support building and maintaining important client relationships.
● Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas.
● Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude and passion to meet the challenges and opportunities of a business.
● Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and business professionals and management.
● Experience in deal origination, sales process, and contract negotiations.
● Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.


Benefits

The base pay range for this role is being finalized. A good-faith pay range or fixed pay rate will be provided to all applicants before any interview or offer. Candidates will be asked to submit their salary expectations in advance.
