Sales Executive at Cardamom

Hybrid in Madison, WI or Remote (Anywhere in U.S.)

 

Ideal profile:

Our ideal candidate has an extensive background in Electronic Health Records Applications, Data, and Analytics sales with an emphasis on Epic and is proficient in sales to the senior executive level.

Your Role:

The Cardamom Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for prospective and current customers within a named territory to achieve revenue and bookings targets.  The role is also responsible for executive relationship management and overall customer satisfaction for customers within their territory.

As a Sales Executive at Cardamom, you will:
  • Sell to prospective and current Cardamom customers
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and qualification through opportunity development to contract negotiation and post-sale relationship management
  • Create a strategic plan to achieve sales targets within a defined set of accounts
  • Meet/exceed sales targets
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting
  • Collaborate with our Solutions and Delivery teams to develop, propose, and sell solutions to prospective and current customers
  • Develop partnerships with entities that further individual and company sales strategies and objectives
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales
  • Serve as a senior account executive with existing customers with a goal to represent Cardamom as an executive and sales contact
    • Work in collaboration with the Solutions Account Lead to provide account management, and in some cases, serve as a primary account lead
    • Actively manage accounts at an executive level to ensure satisfaction with services and opportunities for new services sales
    • Act as a collaborative team member with the day-to-day account leader to ensure account success and growth
  • Represent Cardamom at industry events and conferences to generate leads and build company reputation
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on Cardamom products and services
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • Keep systems updated to ensure effective information sharing across teams and ensure clean data for sales reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation efforts, brand awareness, and promotional activities
  • Suggest or recommend service improvements and new products

 

Our Ideal Sales Executive will have:

  • 10 years of experience in Health IT services and sales or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in solution-oriented, relationship based professional services sales
  • Demonstrated capability to sell to health system executives
  • Strong understanding of the US healthcare system, with a focus on healthcare providers and health plans
  • Strong understanding of the HIT industry and its products and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to build and maintain exceptional client relationships
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
