To be successful as a sales data analyst you should be able to analyze large amounts of data, accurately project sales trends, identify sales opportunities, and provide practical guidance to optimize sales strategies and increase market share.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with executive and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Identifying and reporting on key indicators of sales performance and market opportunity.

  • Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends.

  • Monitoring and evaluating sales performance and provides guidance on pros and cons of possible solutions, recommends business process changes, and develops metrics

  • Analyzes data, prepares and presents results to identify and/or resolve business problems as well as drive business actions in often-critical areas

  • Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data

  • Examine monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to identify sales patterns, areas for improvement, and evaluate the achievement of sales targets and objectives

  • Other duties as assigned or necessary

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in sales analysis.

  • Expert in Excel comfortable working with large, complex data sets (VBA, dashboards, pivot tables, data import/export)

  • Strong research and data analysis skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and CRM software.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Projection and forecasting skills.

  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

  • Degree in business administration, finance, or marketing preferred

Salary Range: $100,000.00- $115,000.00 annually + benefits + bonus

Compensation within this salary range is dependent upon the candidate's experience, education, and relevant qualifications
