The Opportunity
Lead a High-Performing Sales Team + Shape Medely's Next Stage of Growth

East Coast Hours · Reports to Director, SMB Sales

Healthcare facilities need fast, reliable access to the clinical professionals who keep care moving. Medely makes that possible.

We’re looking for a Sales Manager to lead and develop our East Coast team of full-cycle Account Executives. This role requires consistent availability during Eastern Time business hours, regardless of where you’re based. You’ll create the coaching, accountability, and operating discipline that turn talented sellers into a consistently high-performing team.

This is not a manage-from-the-dashboard role. You’ll listen to calls, identify performance gaps, deliver direct feedback, and help representatives improve - while maintaining a high bar for results.

Why Now?

As Medely grows, we need sales leadership that can make performance more consistent, forecasts more dependable, and coaching more effective.

You’ll have meaningful ownership of your team’s success, along with mentorship from our Senior Director of Sales. Exceptional performance can lead to significant compensation and broader leadership opportunities.

What You'll Own

  • Lead, coach, and develop Account Executives who manage the sales process from first contact through close

  • Improve performance through call reviews, weekly one-on-ones, and structured quarterly reviews

  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable in a supportive, motivating way

  • Build trusted relationships with direct reports, cross-functional partners, and company leaders

  • Onboard new hires and train the team on new tools, processes, technologies, and sales practices

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity reporting

  • Develop expert knowledge of Medely’s products, customers, competitors, and the healthcare staffing market

  • Identify gaps in the sales process and recommend tools, materials, or improvements that help the team close business

Who Thrives Here

You care deeply about developing people, but you don’t avoid difficult conversations. You know when someone needs clearer expectations, better training, more practice, or firmer accountability.

You combine empathy with high standards and use both performance data and firsthand observation to make your coaching specific, practical, and effective.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years leading sales teams, backed by 4+ years carrying a quota yourself

  • A track record of improving representative performance through specific coaching, honest feedback, and clear accountability

  • Strong command of full-cycle sales, including pipeline management, conversion, forecasting, and closing

  • The judgment to diagnose why someone is struggling - and the leadership skills to help them improve

  • A data-driven operating style paired with strong interpersonal instincts

  • Confidence working in Salesforce and adapting to new sales tools and processes

Experience in healthcare, staffing, marketplaces, or another complex sales environment is a strong advantage. This role may require up to 25% travel.

Location: Remote (East Coast Hours Required)

Compensation: $143,000 - $157,000 OTE (base + commission at plan). Commission is uncapped with accelerators, so earnings increase significantly when you exceed quota.

Why Medely: Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive Compensation: Based on experience and performance

  • Long-term Incentives: 401k

  • Healthcare Benefits: Full suite of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Flexibility: We believe that work/life balance is important, so we offer flexible and unlimited PTO

  • Paid parental leave

  • Purpose: Join a growing mission-oriented startup that is modernizing the healthcare industry nationally!

  • Ownership: Drive meaningful business impact on a team you’ll help build and define!

  • Remote: Work in a digital environment with all the tools to achieve your work as though you were in the office!

We're an equal opportunity employer to all. We interview and hire applicants of all backgrounds, orientations, expressions, and identities.

Work location is flexible if approved by Medely.

Medely does not accept unsolicited resumes from agencies. We consider any resume (CV) or biography received from an agency or outside recruiter without prior approval from a member of the Medely Human Resources or Recruiting team to be unsolicited and gratuitous, and such submissions will not be recognized by Medely for purposes of “ownership” of the candidate.

We are an E-Verify company.

Compensation Range: $100K - $110K
