The Sales Manager will manage relationships with independent retailers, drive revenue growth, handle account lifecycle, and optimize retail strategies.

Our client is looking for a Sales Representative & Account Manager to take ownership of their independent retail channel and drive consistent revenue growth across the U.S. market. This company operates in the consumer gardening industry and has built strong momentum in recent years through sustainable innovation and expanding retail partnerships.
This role is ideal for someone entrepreneurial and proactive, who thrives on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and managing accounts end-to-end. They are looking for someone who is just as comfortable prospecting new business as they are nurturing long-term partnerships and optimizing account performance. This is a Full time job from 9 am to 5 pm CST.
- Manage and grow relationships with independent lawn, garden, and gift retailers across the U.S.
- Build and maintain consistent outreach through calls and emails using CRM tools like HubSpot
- Own the full lifecycle of accounts, including onboarding, order management, and recurring revenue generation
- Process and manage incoming orders through platforms like Faire
- Develop and execute retail activation strategies such as in-store events, promotions, and pop-ups
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting
- Create and optimize cold outreach strategies and email sequences
- Improve inbound lead channels, including wholesale platforms and retail networks
- Monitor account performance and provide insights on risks, opportunities, and growth strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on sales initiatives and retail strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales within the U.S. market
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot
- Familiarity with wholesale platforms such as Faire or similar
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and drive revenue growth
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to sales and problem-solving
