ABOUT THE POSITION

The Sales Operations Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving global sales effectiveness, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and executive leadership team to design and execute scalable sales strategies, optimize processes, and align cross-functional initiatives that accelerate revenue growth.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in sales operations within a B2B environment, strong analytical acumen, and proven experience leading high-performing teams. 

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the CRO to shape and execute global sales strategy, including annual and quarterly planning, forecasting, capacity modeling, and budgeting.
  • Establish scalable frameworks and standardized methodologies that drive predictable revenue performance and operational excellence.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Design, implement, and continuously optimize global sales processes, pipeline governance, and performance management practices.
  • Ensure alignment between sales strategy and operational execution across regions.
  • Own global sales performance metrics, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Deliver data-driven insights on pipeline health, win/loss trends, pricing strategy, and financial performance.
  • Provide executive-ready reporting and analysis to support senior leadership and board-level decision-making.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform revenue strategy and growth opportunities.
  • Drive CRM strategy, governance, and adoption to ensure data integrity and disciplined execution.
  • Lead Power BI (or equivalent BI tools) strategy to enhance visibility and actionable insights.
  • Evaluate and optimize the sales technology ecosystem to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead and develop the Sales Operations function, including mentoring, performance management, and capability building.
  • Partner with global sales leaders to understand regional challenges and implement tailored solutions.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Revenue Strategy roles.
  • Proven success building forecasting models and delivering executive-level revenue insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems and BI tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with revenue planning and modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership through data-backed recommendations.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in global B2B environments; gaming industry exposure is a plus.

This position offers a combination of base salary and performance-based variable compensation, with total on-target earnings expected to range between $170,000 – $200,000.

Virtuos maintains a location-based compensation structure; therefore, the salary range may vary for candidates residing in different geographic markets.
