Overview
The Sales Operations Intern is a valuable resource for the Sales Operations Specialists (SOS).  
This position supports sales efforts by requesting quotes from appropriate Vendors and 
Distributors, uploading quotes for SOS, managing SalesForce.com Opportunities, inputting Deal
Registrations to the various vendor portals, and helping with projects as needed. 

In this role, the Sales Operations Intern is required to interact with Vendor Partners and internal 
business partners in a fast-paced support atmosphere. It is the duty of the Sales Operations 
Intern to support New Business as well as Renewal Business in a quota bearing environment. 
The Sales Operation Intern must keep their finger on the pulse of all Opportunities that they are 
responsible for in their region. Sales Operations Interns will manage SalesForce.com, as 
needed, so that it can provide accurate forecasting reports.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist with deal registrations for all account executives and SOSs.
  • Use SalesForce.com to generate quotes, track opportunities and process orders.
  • Promptly responding to internal and external inquiries.
  • Serve as a liaison between Vendors, and SOS, as necessary.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight 
    deadlines.
  • Work closely with other GuidePoint teams to better streamline processes and information as well as ensuring we are delivering to customers on what they need.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (GED).
  • Solid Math skills with the ability to calculate margins/discounts, and percentages required.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • An unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity are a must.
  • Must be open to receiving constructive feedback and applying it to improve their results.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in analyzing information to make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely via email, phone, and written documents.
