KVUE-TV, the TEGNA-owned ABC affiliate in Austin Texas, is looking for a dynamic Sales Operations Specialist. 
This position will provide high-level administrative and project management support to the Director of Sales, the Local Sales Manager and the entire sales department. This role is essential in ensuring flawless day-to-day operations, coordinating key projects, and managing communication flow within a fast-paced media environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Management of local sales accounts.
  • Lead the Account Team members ensuring accurate fulfillment on broadcast and digital orders
  • Responsible for trouble shooting all Wide Orbit Traffic (WOT) concerns/issues related to order entry, weekly spot times, Co-Op billing, Invoice adjustment resolution, Maintain Hygiene Report
  • Ensure proper Sponsorship tracking, coding and reporting and liaise departments to execute
  • Assist in tracking sales department projects, including strategic initiatives, sales presentations, sponsorships and client-related activities using office technologies (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Assist with Production workflow, execution and follow-through including maintenance of contracts for talent.
  • Reviews logs particularly ahead of high-profile events and coordinate with AMs on any irregularities or changes needed.
  • Point person for program/traffic issues that involve engineering (i.e.: split signal)
  • Work with marketing to create promotional schedules for In-House initiatives, trade and corporate promo schedules.
  • Pull daily CIA flags and work with AMs to resolve prior to log closure.
  • Oversee aging reports, collection attempts and resolution of short-pay/credit adjustment with the Account Manager team to limit lost revenue.
  • Maintains Under delivery reporting and fulfillment, communicate priorities with TCO.
  • Help plan and execute sales-related events, including client gatherings and community outreach initiatives.
  • Oversee sales executions as developed with new or existing media.
  • High standard of professionalism, accuracy and accountability.
  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality on all sales-related matters.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales or  administrative role, preferably within a sales or media environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its clients.
