Purpose and Impact

  

Within the assigned sales territory, the Sales Representative represents Sleeman Breweries and grows portfolio presence in the trade. This role drives volume and gross margin performance by building strong customer relationships, executing effective sales strategies, and delivering best‑in‑class merchandising and program execution.

  

Responsibilities 

Sales Strategy & Performance 

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve volume and gross margin targets. 

  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and execute account plans. 

Customer & Account Management 

  • Build strong relationships with retail and onpremise customers, providing product, promotion, and sales recommendations. 

  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and adjust programs or targets. 

Execution & Merchandising 

  • Coordinate and execute key account and marketing programs, providing feedback on effectiveness. 

  • Maintain merchandising standards and influence space allocation and product visibility. 

Operational Excellence & Collaboration 

  • Manage expenses within budget and implement continuous improvement (MUDA reduction). 

  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM systems and collaborate with internal partners. 

  • Participate in industry events and stay current on competitor activity and consumer trends. 

Skills and Qualifications (Required) 

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a consumerpackaged goods environment. 

  • Postsecondary education in a related field. 

  • Proven ability to execute sales plans, achieve targets, and drive revenue growth. 

  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills with internal and external partners. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication with strong presentation skills. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including CRM 365, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. 

  • Beverage alcohol industry experience is an asset. 

  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record. 

  • Ability to demonstrate behaviours aligned with organisational values. 

  • Responsible beverage service certification (as required by province)  

Work Environment (Hybrid/Onsite) 
Minimum of five days per week spent in the field within the assigned territory.
