Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a campus in Austin, Texas which is now home to our US operations. For this role, we're looking for candidates based in Austin, though you have flexibility to be hybrid from this location.
About the role
Canva is seeking a Sales Security Analyst to provide support to Canva's enterprise sales team. In this high visibility role, you will be responsible for managing customers' security needs during the sales process. You will create customer-facing documentation to build trust, maintain process for intake of customer security assessments, and complete customer security assessments in a timely manner. Reporting to the Sales Security & Trust Lead, this role will play a crucial part in building customer trust and ensuring adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
What you'd be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Work closely with Canva's security team to gain a deep understanding of Canva's security posture.
  • Act as a point of contact for all go-to-market-related security inquiries.
  • Coordinate and manage responses to customer inquiries, including contributing to Request for Proposals (RFPs), automating responses to customer security inquiries, and conducting diligence assessments.
  • Implement processes to intake customer security questionnaires and complete them accurately and promptly.
  • Partner closely with various internal teams and subject matter experts to maintain an accurate knowledge base of Canva's security information to efficiently and effectively address customer inquiries.
  • Act as a point of contact for all customer audit requests and drive customer audits.
  • Maintain metrics and reporting to demonstrate the impact of the Sales Security & Trust team.


You're probably a match if

  • 3+ years of working experience within Security GRC or a similar security role supporting sales.
  • Understanding of common certification and attestation requirements such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC1, SOC2, etc.
  • Understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Understanding of cloud controls and environments (AWS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
