About the opportunity
Ontra is seeking an Account Executive to join our rapidly growing company. The Account Executive will be an essential team member for Ontra’s scaling sales team, and will help drive revenue, acquire new customer logos and identify expansion opportunities for our industry-leading legal solutions. A successful candidate is a hungry, driven sales professional who will be comfortable joining a fast-growing team dedicated to expanding the company’s offering.
This person will be able to ramp quickly by learning our product offering and MEDDICC sales framework and immediately start creating sales opportunities, qualifying leads, pitching prospects and closing new business.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is flexible, ready to adapt to new strategies and initiatives, and ambitious, constantly on the hunt for new business.
The Account Executive will report into our Managing Director, Sales (North America) and location is flexible.
What you’ll do
- Product: Quickly become familiar with Ontra’s range of products and services
- Pipeline management: Effectively own and manage a sales pipeline from initial calls through closing
- Expansion: Driving revenue growth through business development, lead qualification, pitching and closing new customers
- Strategy: Adapt comfortably to new strategic initiatives, working with the team to validate and/or invalidate new product hypotheses
- Collaboration: Collaborate with a dedicated team of Business Development Associates to create outbound sales opportunities
What you’ll bring
- Experience: At least 2 years selling B2B technology (and/or technology-enabled services) at the enterprise level
- Ambition: Entrepreneurial, hunter mindset - enjoys developing new markets, finding new customers, and building systems not yet in place
- Intellectually curious: The ability to learn new concepts quickly and communicate those concepts efficiently.
- Professionalism: Strong professional presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Independent and a team player: Proven ability to handle autonomy as well as collaborate with a team and be coachable
- Efficiency: Excellent organizational skills including prioritization and time management
- Technical expertise: Proficiency with Salesforce & GSuite
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree with evidence of high achievement in academics and extracurriculars preferred
