The Director of Global Sales Development is a highly strategic role responsible for A Cloud Guru’s growing Global Sales Development team. Our SDR program has two goals—generate qualified pipeline and develop business development representatives’ careers. We are heavily invested in delivering both goals.
You will be tasked with leading front-line managers and ensuring our team has value-driven conversations with both prospects and customers. ACG looks for sales leadership that is visionary and brings superior management skills to run their teams coupled with high emotional intelligence and good judgement.

As the Director of Global Sales Development at ACG, you’ll get to:
- Create a predictable and repeatable sales development engine through inbound, outbound, and customer development specialization
- Optimize and scale the global SDR function
- Execute on our vision to make the SDR team a company-wide incubator for talent
- Recruit, interview, and hire talented SDRs at scale
- Drive and optimize pipeline growth through rigorous metrics and forecast management
We are looking for someone who can:
- Maintain and improve relationships with sales and marketing leadership partners
- Work closely with marketing, sales, marketing operations and sales operations to ensure alignment on your team’s strategy and execution
- Contribute to, and implement, a training program and career progression program for our SDRs
What you bring to the table

- 5+ years’ experience managing day-to-day operation and oversight of a team including sales guidance, planning, and rigor around forecasting
- 3+ years experience leading high performance sales/business development teams
- Closing experience and track record of exceeding quota
- Experience building career development programs for high performing individual contributors and managers
- Experience with funnel management across multiple channels (inbound, upsell, outbound, marketing)
- Salesforce, Outreach and other sales systems knowledge
- Excellent project management skills
- Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
- Comfortable working in a hyper-growth dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written)
- Aptitude to learn technical concepts/terms
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills

What’s the interview process like at ACG?

You shouldn’t have to burn through a week of sick time or all your best out-of-office excuses just to put feelers out for a new career opportunity. We want to be as transparent about the process as possible to help ease your mind. It’s our goal to provide you a fair, efficient interviewing experience that respects you and your time — and to do it all with a sidecar of delight.
Once you submit an application, we’ll review it. If you’re a good fit, you’ll have an initial chat with a recruiter over the phone. A phone interview with a manager typically follows. Depending on your role, you might then be asked to do a little homework (but nothing too time consuming). Then we’ll schedule a Zoom call to meet other members of the team, answer any questions you have, and give you a feel for what it’s really like to work at ACG.
