managing and providing strategic direction for a sales team and for driving the organization’s sales
revenue through a large volume of transactions. Thus, we’re looking for a high energy people
manager with a talent for identifying and developing strong salespeople. To thrive, you must be
comfortable leading during a period of significant change and high expectations. The candidate
selected will be required to use his/her knowledge and skills to manage an outbound sales team
from the ground up with an emphasis on the development of salespeople focused on a solution
based/consultative selling approach.
The successful candidate will formulate, recommend and implement sales policies and programs
with existing small, medium and large size lending companies to generate revenue. This position is
expected to aggressively expand existing relationships, manage and develop the sales teams to
generate new business, and provide strategic planning and direction for the department. This
position will report to the Senior Director of Sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the
company’s customer base
● Directs and motivates salespeople who engage new prospects and current customers,
educate them on existing solutions and communicate the value of solutions in order to
generate additional business
● Generates revenue through inbound and outbound sales teams managing lending
companies of all sizes
● Improves metrics on sales and closing ratios and optimize sales cycle management
● Execute against a data driven sales plan to acquire new business and enhance the
● Work closely with Marketing to develop and share strategies to establish lead programs
● Work closely with the Account Management to ensure training needs of customers are being
● Oversee the hiring, training, and development of an inside sales organization
● Keep Senior Management appraised through verbal and documented reports on sales
volume, competitive activity, growth and expansion progress
Skills and Experience:
● Requires experience developing and managing a sales team from the ground up with quick
implementation of this strategy
● Proven ability to be hands-on, in the trenches, handling prospect and customer objections
and closing deals
● Significant sales and sales management experience in business-to-business sales
● The ability to be a strong and effective personal motivator of inside sales professionals
● Experience with Salesforce and using metrics to assess progress and success
● Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
● Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as necessary
