Renewal Specialist
Q2 is seeking a Renewal Specialist for our Sales Operations team who will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting customer product and pricing related information in an effort to support the relationship management team in their effort to communicate the value of the Q2 partnership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and manage the overall renewal process and the mechanism to deliver high-quality proposals to the Relationship Management teams and to current customers
Conduct interviews on a recurring basis with subject matter experts and technical staff in order to become more knowledgeable to gather, verify, and update content for responses
Produce superior deliverables that conform to the company’s documentation and style guide standards
Ensure the on-time submission of high-quality, competitive response documents including executive level summaries and reports
Work collaboratively with other specialists and the sales teams to determine the appropriate response strategy
Serve as a subject matter expert on overall renewal process and drive all aspects of a submission including identifying issues, forming suggestions, exercising good judgement, planning and conducting internal interviews and analyses, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations
Review and edit proposal and renewal drafts to ensure they are compliant with the requestor’s instructions and compelling to the intended audience
Stay current with both proposal and financial services industry trends and incorporate relevant trends and information into day-to-day operations
Demonstrate working knowledge of Q2 digital solutions
Ensure that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies are adhered to
Leverage internal resources (e.g., Product department, demo environments, marketing materials, etc.) for up-to-date and accurate responses
Coordinate renewal structure by performing complex analysis based on detailed customer invoices, usage metrics and strategic goals
Coordinate and assist with negotiation between customers and Q2 stakeholders
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum 5 years’ relevant industry experience in banking and financial services, software sales, professional writing or proposal management
Former employment with a bank, credit union, or financial services vendor highly valued
Experience with RFP/Proposal software/processes; proficiency in MS Word/Excel and Proposal Management Software is required
Ability to manage complex processes including working with different stakeholders in order to accomplish company goals.
Experience with performing complex data analysis in order to provide guidance and suggestions to sales staff regarding deal structure and pricing.
Project Management skills mandatory; PMP certification highly valued
Knowledge of Q2 company solutions and services highly valued
Experience with end-to-end sales cycles, allowing for understanding of sales stages, tools used, and win/loss evaluation
Strong working knowledge of sales/technical content writing including via RFP and/or proposal response documents
Comfort with research/interview techniques needed to gather information from internal and external sources
Ability to navigate digital banking solutions to identify key benefits and articulate their functional application
