Sales Enablement Trainer

Summary: The Sales Enablement Trainer is responsible for the training, development, motivation and management of a team of trainees. The Sales Enablement Trainer is responsible for providing and developing the necessary tools, information, and skills for new hires to become effective and productive BDR reps who understand prospecting, the sales process, and post-sale account management. The Sales Enablement Trainer is responsible for promoting our values and culture at Opcity. Additionally, the Sales Enablement Trainer provides support to all L&D projects.
Duties and Respnsibilities
- Duties & Responsibilities:
- Facilitation and ongoing development of the new hire training curriculum
- Flawless understanding of the BDR Sales quality processes and guidelines, scripting, rules of engagement, Focus Fire interactions, attendance/PTO/holiday policies, company values, all Opcity products & services
- Educate BDR Sales on expectations around metrics and activities while maintaining a high standard for Quality and adherence to the rules of engagement
- Coach new hire BDR Sales on Quality, tone, script adherence, and customer service abilities through call monitoring, call breakdowns and ongoing training based on individual needs
- Manage new hire BDR Sales attendance by communicating guidelines and upholding expectations on company policies
- Lead new hire BDR Sales team training meetings to discuss daily operations and performance to create a strong sense of motivation and encouragement
- Hold 1-on-1 meetings and call breakdowns with new hire BDRs
- Partner with CSMs to provide end-of-training assessment for new BDRs
- Cultivate feedback around continuous improvement of the new hire training curriculum
- Partner with recruiting & HR to provide continuous feedback on quality of hire and emergent trends
- Assess training needs and develop programs focused on scripts, product knowledge and effective techniques that maximize new BDRs productivity, quality, and client satisfaction
- Monitors and analyzes BDR team performance to evaluate the effectiveness of training and design follow up or ongoing programs as needed
- Proactively identify opportunities for corrective action and counsel, discipline, and/or administer warnings to BDRs when adherence to policy and Quality are not met during training programs
- Monitor BDR Focus Fire integration and CRM activities and provide coaching for compliance with best practices, policies, and rules of engagement
- Collaborate with Quality to understand emergent trends and implement best practices
- Collaborate with BD Sales Managers to facilitate a successful transition from training to the floor
- Collaborate with Managers to create a fun and positive work environment
- Provide reports and/or assessments of BDR performance
What we like to see/Measures of Success
- 6 months (minimum) in current BDR role
- If BDR, consistent sales performance
- 1-2 years management experience preferred
- Must be proficient with the BDR script, sales process, quality guidelines, and rules and engagement. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to follow/ utilize resources and explain to others
- If BDR, 90 days without written or final warnings for attendance, quality, or behavioral
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Future Leaders Program graduate or currently enrolled

Internal Requirements
- Must have BDR Lender experience
