Sales Solution Architect
Reporting to the VP, Strategic Solutions, the Sales Solution Architect engages prospective FIs in deals of high complexity and long duration. These are often opportunities with high MRR, many non-standard requirements, product roadmap commitments, and may include proposing multiple product lines associated with FinEx messaging. The Strategic Solution Consultant is responsible for understanding the business and technical capabilities of all Q2 solutions (UUX, Open, Gro and CLS) and tying together those capabilities to provide solutions to a wide variety of client business problems. In order to build rapport with prospective FIs, the Sales Solution Architect is responsible for articulating Q2’s value proposition across its comprehensive product suite, evangelizing the FinEx story, and understanding industry best practices for solving business problems using modern technology.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and articulate the value-sale propositions of the Q2 product suite to prospective clients. This includes interacting with experts from CLS, GRO, Open and UUX.
Prepare and deliver presentations and demos of the Q2 product suite differentiating the FinEx messaging within the industry.
Work with clients to understand their relationship with their community and customers, strategic goals and end user business needs. Then position Q2 solutions to solve various business problems for both the FI and end users with solutions centered on the digital banking channels.
Understand the business and technical scope of the solutions to be delivered. Utilize solution blueprint and other documentation techniques to communicate requirements internally to sales, development, product and implementation.
Represent and speak on behalf of Q2 at industry conferences, tradeshows and councils.
Communicate externally with FI contacts of all levels to provide a sense of consultative guidance for and stewardship of Q2 solutions to their business problems.
Work internally with Marketing, Product, Security, Sales, Implementations and Development to enhance Q2 product offerings, address roadmap requirements, augment FinEx messaging, and understand operational and functional boundaries for the products to set proper client expectations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
8-10 years with previous work experience in a similar consultative role or operational role in the banking/credit union space – Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, Business Analyst, Technical Business Consultant, etc.
8-10 years experience with Online Cash Management products (ACH, Wire, Information Reporting, Positive Pay, etc.)
Preferred 2 years of experience working for Q2 in related roles

Travel may be required up to 40% during a normal business climate
