We believe Bold brands should have the ability to create and customize powerful transaction experiences — across all channels. Staples Canada, Vera Bradley and Harry Rosen are among the 90,000+ brands in over 170 countries that trust Bold’s suite of ecommerce tools to power their online stores every day.

We're made up of more than 400 professionals (and growing) who live and breathe ecommerce, and truly care about what we do. We call ourselves Builders. Here at Bold, we live by the BUILDERS Code, our shared set of practices, beliefs, and values that help to shape this dynamic company.

Bold is looking for a talented Sales Trainer to develop a best-in-class training and enablement program for our Sales Team and various cross-functional revenue teams within Bold. In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to build a world-class program from the ground up, and look for opportunities to create a great experience for both new hires and existing team members. You will build our onboarding program, teach our team about the sales process, develop ongoing coaching initiatives, and create an environment that enables our team to become elite at communicating the Bold value proposition. This role reports to our VP of Revenue Operations, and will also work closely with sales leaders, sales enablement and our Learning and Development Team to identify and execute on learning and development opportunities across the revenue organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience building training programs from scratch (tech/ SaaS experience is a huge asset), and work closely with other departments to deliver and constantly improve effective sales training in a B2B environment.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate closely with Bold’s Learning and Development Team to ensure consistency with overall company training
  • Conduct needs analysis by identifying department priorities and skill gaps to determine training and enablement priorities
  • Deliver results-driven sales training and enablement programs using a wide variety of design and training methodologies, concepts, learning tools, and practices
  • Build a new employee onboarding program that contains role-specific components and specific content assets
  • Present sales modules, presentations, sales skills, and processes on an ongoing basis, across a variety of forums
  • Employ a continuous optimization mentality by collecting feedback from stakeholders on the training program to find areas for ongoing improvement
  • Implement an analytics foundation to quantify and measure the efficacy of training and coaching programs as well as improvements across various performance KPIs
  • Develop structured coaching that focuses on specific skills and competencies
  • Implement a programmatic approach to continually updating the training program as new product releases, pricing changes, or additional updates are provided

What we’re looking for

  • A work ethic that demonstrates dedication and commitment to Bold’s mission and belief in our BUILDERS Code
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver sales training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program development, and training technologies
  • 3+ years of professional training experience as a Corporate Trainer, Sales Trainer, or a related title, preferably in a B2B sales environment
  • Previous experience in tech sales, with the ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and experience with curriculum development
  • Analytical mentality to measure performance and impact
  • Proactive nature with the ability to solve problems with a sense of urgency
  • Self-motivated, positive, and able to relate well with diverse populations of all levels
  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce is highly preferred
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
