Iodine Software is a healthcare AI company that has pioneered a new machine learning approach -- Cognitive Emulation -- to help healthcare finance leaders build resilient organizations. Cognitive Emulation uses proprietary AI technology and machine learning algorithms to think the way a clinician thinks and emulate clinical judgment. This allows us to help nearly 500 hospitals quickly and accurately identify areas of potential opportunity to accelerate productivity, data accuracy, and financial return.

 

Iodine is seeking a highly skilled, highly experienced leader who can help us drive growth in another, higher gear.  Specifically, this individual will bring their years of experience in sales, including personal historical success, combined with their skill sets in teaching, management and skill building to elevate the success of our sales executives (SE).

 

As Iodine grows, we will need to ensure that we are:

  • hiring the right new SEs to join the team
  • providing those new SEs with all of the training and experience they need to be successful
  • accelerating their time to productivity in the market
  • creating a constant learning environment that supports the continued skill set growth of our commercial teams and increasing our management bandwidth to drive key deals to closure in the market

Our Senior Director of Sales Excellence will be charged with these tasks.  The person will have direct management over a subset of our SEs, working closely with them to drive their success in the market. That said, as an experienced sales leader in the healthcare industry, this person will also be a critical part of the brain trust of leadership that can be leveraged against critical deals regardless of reporting relationships.  Further, this role will be critical in establishing both the training, fostering and skill development of newly hired SEs (all of which will be seasoned sales execs, but who will need training on Iodine) to speed them to market and productivity while also helping to build the ongoing education for the entirety of the revenue team.

 

This role will be an important member of the revenue leadership team and will work closely with our VP of Growth and Chief Revenue Officer.

 

What You’ll Need

Minimum Requirements (Education, certifications and experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of successful sales experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing sales team to goal
  • Experience working Healthcare/Tech/SaaS company
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products

Preferred Requirements (Education, certifications and experience): 

  • MBA or equivalent Master’s Degree
  • Sales experience to health systems preferred
