About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be the primary owner of our Salesforce platform, supporting all global regions including the Americas, Europe, and Japan. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, and Marketing teams to optimize Salesforce workflows, maintain data integrity, and enable our go-to-market teams to operate efficiently at scale. This is a high-impact, highly visible role at a fast-growing global IoT company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day administration of Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud), including user management, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security settings across all global regions.
  • Design, build, and maintain workflows, flows, validation rules, custom objects, fields, page layouts, and reports/dashboards to support global go-to-market operations.
  •  Partner with Sales and Marketing stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Manage and improve data quality through deduplication, cleansing, imports/exports, and the implementation of data governance best practices.
  •  Administer and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party tools (e.g., marketing automation, CPQ, experience cloud, L&D platform, Slack, AI platform).
  • Support global sales operations including territory management, forecasting setup, pipeline reporting, and quota tracking.
  • Collaborate with Japan and Europe teams to ensure Salesforce configurations meet regional requirements and processes.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and proactively recommend and implement new features that benefit the business.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, processes, customizations, and training materials. Perform training to the Sales team as needed. 
  • Serve as the primary internal liaison with Soracom's external Salesforce implementation partner, coordinating on development projects, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features, enhancements, and releases, including writing test scripts, recruiting testers, tracking defects, and obtaining sign-off from stakeholders.

  • Fully remote work within the United States (PST) or Japan

Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder) are a strong plus.
  • Proven experience supporting global or multi-regional Salesforce deployments with complex user bases and data models.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud), including building and managing portals or partner/customer communities.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce automation tools including Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., HubSpot/Marketo, Slack, Docusign, Snowflake, or similar tools).
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards to support revenue operations, forecasting, and executive-level reporting.
  • Experience leading or participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including writing test scripts, managing defect tracking, and coordinating stakeholder sign-off.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across different time zones.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Champion the next generation of CRM capabilities by understanding how Salesforce, data platforms, AI agents, and emerging integration technologies are reshaping business operations. Continuously assess industry trends and recommend best practices that keep our CRM ecosystem modern, scalable, and aligned with the company's future needs
Desirable Experience and Skills
  • Experience with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools within or integrated with Salesforce.
  • Japanese language proficiency (written and/or spoken) is a significant plus given close collaboration with Soracom's Japan headquarters 
  •  Experience in the IoT, telecommunications, or enterprise SaaS industry.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations across regions (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for CRM data management.
  • Experience working with offshore or distributed global teams
