The Role at a Glance
Role: Salesforce Administrator
Team: Corporate IT
Location: Remote
Opportunity for Impact
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support,
and maintenance of the Salesforce platform. This role involves collaborating with
stakeholders to gather requirements, building scalable solutions using declarative tools,
and ensuring data integrity and security. The administrator also provides end-user
support, monitors for new platform features, and helps to optimize the platform for the
best possible user experience. The candidate in this role will balance administrative
excellence with curiosity about platform capabilities and a willingness to expand their
technical skill set.
What You'll Do:
Solution Design and Configuration:
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on an exceptional user experience.
  • Design and build effective business solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Flow and other declarative automation, fields, page layouts, record types, apps, actions, and custom settings.
  • Proactively assess solution designs for potential limitations, scalability concerns, and edge cases; recommend alternatives and improvements before implementation
  • Collaborate with senior team members to understand broader platform architecture and contribute to cross-functional solution discussions
  • Support the administration and configuration of Salesforce CPQ, including product catalog management, quote configuration, and pricing rules

Data Management and Security:
  • Improve Salesforce data quality through data management, implementing rules and automation as needed.
  • Configure all aspects of Salesforce security, including user and license management, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules.
  • Audit security settings and user access to ensure compliance with internal policies and best practices
  • Monitor data storage and API limits to optimize system performance and anticipate constraints

User Support and Maintenance:
  • Monitor user support tickets, provide first-level triage, and escalate as needed.
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features.
  • Maintain up-to-date certifications and knowledge on new Salesforce features.

Documentation:
  • Create and maintain lite technical documentation on automation and supported business processes.
  • Document standard operating procedures for common administrative tasks and configurations
  • Share knowledge with team members and contribute to organizational learning

What We're Looking For
If this role sounds like the right next move, we'd love to hear from you. You might bring:
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator.
  • Experience in Service Cloud and Sales Cloud is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow Builder.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration and administration is
  • preferred
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to translate business requirements
    into technical solutions
  • Minimum Salesforce Certified Administrator is required
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification is a plus

Compensation Transparency
Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from [$60,000-$120,000 USD]. We take a thoughtful, consistent approach to compensation and consider a variety of factors, including depth and breadth of experience, skills and role scope. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible for additional compensation plans (bonus and commission).
