Job Description

Position Overview

The Salesforce Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, administration, optimization, and ongoing development of the Salesforce ecosystem across the organization. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to deliver scalable CRM solutions that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical Salesforce expertise with leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Salesforce platform across the organization
  • Manage and mentor Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and supporting technical resources
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Drive CRM strategy, roadmap planning, and platform enhancements aligned with business objectives
  • Oversee integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems
  • Ensure platform stability, security, data integrity, and compliance with best practices
  • Manage Salesforce releases, testing, deployment activities, and ongoing support processes
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to increase operational efficiency
  • Monitor platform performance and recommend improvements for scalability and user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Product, Marketing, and IT

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience including administration, configuration, and platform management
  • 2+ years of leadership or people management experience
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform capabilities
  • Experience managing Salesforce projects, enhancements, and integrations
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security, profiles, permission sets, workflows, flows, and reporting
  • Experience working in Agile environments and managing competing priorities
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance technical execution with business strategy and operational needs

What would make you stand out:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Sales/Service Cloud Consultant
  • Experience managing large-scale Salesforce environments with complex integrations
  • Exposure to Apex, Lightning Components, APIs, or custom Salesforce development
  • Experience with CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, or other Salesforce products
  • Background in financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industries
  • Experience driving CRM transformation initiatives or enterprise-scale implementations
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging Salesforce reporting and dashboards for decision-making
  • Passion for process improvement, automation, and delivering exceptional user experiences
