Bottom line

We are looking for a product designer who can own the product experience, shape product direction, and move the product forward with clarity and speed. This role goes far beyond UI. You will synthesize customer feedback, define product and UX specifications, influence technical architecture, and help prioritize what matters most for customers and the business.

If you enjoy building serious B2B products used by enterprise teams—and want real ownership, not ticket-taking—this role is for you.

What you will doOwn product design, end to end
  • Own the UX and product design across Flosum’s platform (DevOps, Backup, Data, Security).
  • Design workflows that are simple, intuitive, and enterprise-grade.
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across all products and surfaces.
Turn customer feedback into product direction
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, prospects, internal teams, and usage data.
  • Synthesize fragmented input into clear insights, patterns, and priorities.
  • Translate feedback into concrete product and UX specifications.
Define product and UX specifications
  • Create detailed UX flows, wireframes, interaction models, and design systems.
  • Clearly document what we are building, why, and how it should work.
  • Partner with engineering to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and well-architected.
Influence technical architecture
  • Work closely with product and engineering leaders on system design and architecture decisions.
  • Understand platform constraints and opportunities.
  • Help shape solutions that balance UX quality, performance, security, and scalability.
Drive prioritization and execution
  • Help prioritize features and improvements based on customer impact, business value, and effort.
  • Bring structure and focus to a complex product surface area.
  • Push for high standards, urgency, and continuous improvement.
Raise the bar
  • Set and maintain a high design standard across the company.
  • Proactively identify product gaps, UX debt, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Act as a product thinker, not just a designer.
What success looks like
  • Customers clearly understand and enjoy using the product.
  • The product feels cohesive, intentional, and well-designed.
  • Engineering builds faster because specifications are clear.
  • Product decisions are grounded in real customer insight.
  • UX quality and product clarity noticeably improve within months.
Why Flosum
  • Real ownership and influence over a mission-critical enterprise platform.
  • Direct access to leadership and customers.
  • Opportunity to design products used by some of the world’s largest Salesforce customers.
  • A company that values clarity, speed, and high standards over bureaucracy.

RequirementsWhat we are looking forExperience and skills
  • 7+ years designing complex B2B or enterprise software products.
  • Proven ability to own large product surfaces, not just isolated features.
  • Strong experience translating user feedback into product strategy and specs.
  • Deep understanding of UX, interaction design, and usability principles.
  • Comfortable engaging in technical and architectural discussions.
  • Experience working closely with engineers and product leaders.
Product mindset
  • Thinks in systems, workflows, and outcomes—not screens.
  • Obsessed with clarity, simplicity, and customer value.
  • Can balance long-term product vision with near-term execution.
  • Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
Execution and communication
  • Clear, structured communicator—written and verbal.
