Salesforce Developer Gloo · Remote (US or Canada) · Contract, 6 months · Mid-Level

About the Role:
Gloo is looking for a Salesforce Developer to build a Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud implementation for a Canadian nonprofit. You will turn signed design proposals and technical specs into working configuration, code, integrations, and migration loads: a Person Account and Household model, gift designations across five legal entities, gift processing and receipting, six integrations, and a migration of roughly 71,000 accounts and 5 million gift transactions.

You will report day to day to the project's Solutions Architect, who owns design and the client relationship, and escalate to Gloo's Director of Systems Management when needed. You own build quality, unit tests, and clean handoffs. This is a contract engagement of about six months, targeted to start in December 2026 and run through go-live and hypercare.

About Gloo
Gloo is a technology platform serving faith-based and mission-driven organizations. Its Systems Management team designs and delivers the systems those organizations rely on, including this Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud implementation.

What You'll Do:
• Review draft design documents for feasibility and flag platform limits, effort, and risks to the Solutions Architect.
• Set up sandboxes, source control, a deployment pipeline, and approved development standards before build begins.
• Build the Person Account, Household, and relationship model, plus project codes, designations, legal entities, and the gift designation and subfund model.
• Build gift processing, batching, recurring giving, monthly FX handling, donor rollups, reports, and dashboards.
• Implement the designed security and sharing model with least privilege, named accounts, and MFA.
• Build acknowledgements and receipts using Data Processing Engine, OmniStudio/DocGen, and Actionable Lists where the design calls for them.
• Write bulk-safe, tested, documented Flows, Apex, and LWC, using declarative options first.• Build integrations with Stripe, Clover, Bambora/EFT, WeGive, MPDX, MailChimp, Dayforce, and SQL/SSIS replication, and support the client's developers on Great Plains with specs, payloads, and test data.
• Build and run migration load scripts and transformation rules, and deliver row counts and reconciliation data for every test load and the final load.
• Write unit and integration tests, fix UAT defects in priority order, execute the cutover runbook, and resolve issues through 30 days of hypercare.
• Raise design gaps to the Solutions Architect rather than deciding them in code, and report status in daily standups and a weekly written update.

What We're Looking For:
• 3 or more years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, Flows, and Lightning Web Components, including at least 1 full implementation.
• Experience building REST and event-based integrations, including payment processors such as Stripe.
• Experience with SQL or ETL tools and loading and reconciling data sets of millions of records using Data Loader, Bulk API, or similar.
• Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD experience, with a habit of unit testing every change.
• Comfort working under least-privilege, MFA, and named-account rules, and never handling payment tokens or card numbers.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to build to an architect's design.
• Based in the United States or Canada and able to work only from those locations.
• Available for about six months starting December 2026.

Nice to Have:
• Hands-on Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or NPSP experience, including Person Accounts and gift or donation data models.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification, plus Nonprofit Cloud or Data Cloud credentials.
• Experience with Data Processing Engine, OmniStudio/DocGen, and Actionable Lists.
• Canadian charity experience, including CAD receipting and multi-currency gift flows.
• Experience with Dayforce, Clover, Bambora, MPDX, or MailChimp.
• Prior contract or consulting experience with a services firm.

Tools & Environment:
Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Apex, LWC, Salesforce DX, OmniStudio, Stripe Dayforce, Clover, SQL, Bambora, MailChimp, SSIS, Git
