Summary
Thunder’s Solution Architect is responsible for collaborating with our customers' technology and business stakeholders to develop a scalable Salesforce architecture, vision, and strategy that enables best-in-class business outcomes. As a Multi-Cloud SA, you will lead complex engagements across a variety of commercial and enterprise customers, ensuring that multi-cloud implementations (including Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds) meet strategic goals.
You will function as a liaison between the customer and the Thunder team, translating customer requirements into a cohesive architecture for key customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Lead the overall design and implementation for multi-cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with customer business goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead discovery workshops and engage with senior stakeholders and executives to align technical solutions with business strategies.
- Project Leadership: Oversee multiple Salesforce projects simultaneously, managing the overall health of project teams and ensuring deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria.
- Documentation: Develop high-level solution architecture and detailed design documents to aid in the understanding of existing and proposed solutions.
- Sales Partnership: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert during the sales process, partnering with business development teams for customer discovery and sales engineering to estimate the technical level of effort.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior solution architects, consultants, and development teams to foster growth and adherence to industry best practices.
- Innovation: Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets and stay updated with the latest Salesforce trends to provide thought leadership
Required Qualifications
- 6-10+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture and implementation within the Salesforce partner ecosystem.
- Significant hands-on solutioning experience across the Salesforce suite, specifically Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, ensuring clear alignment between business objectives and architectural delivery.
- Comprehensive knowledge of business modeling, governance, and operations for a variety of customers, including enterprise and commercial implementations.
- Demonstrated mastery of Salesforce Flow to design, build, and troubleshoot complex, scalable business logic and automated end-to-end workflows.
- Ability to map functional requirements to technical requirements and architect integrations between multiple Salesforce products.
- Proven ability to lead multiple engagements at varying stages at the same time while acting as the primary interface with offshore partners.
- Strong skills in business process mapping, documentation, and process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge and/or hands-on solutioning experience within Data 360, Agentforce, Tableau, and/or MuleSoft is highly preferred
- Comfortability designing the architecture of complex, high-performance Microsites and portals, with deep hands-on expertise in Custom LWR and Aura frameworks.
- Experience driving user experiences through advanced CSS customization and the development of Lightning Web Components (LWC) tailored for unique business requirements.
