Salesforce Training Specialist

Location: United States - we are fully remote!

As a Trainer at Thunder, you will play a critical role in driving successful user adoption following the implementation of new Salesforce + AWS solutions. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, customized training programs — from end-user enablement to Train-the-Trainer models — to help our clients confidently leverage new tools and processes.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, creative training and change management experiences that support enterprise transformation. Your work will begin with a deep understanding of the impacted user groups, including their current tools, processes, and pain points. From there, you'll assess the future-state changes introduced by the new Salesforce and/or AWS solution, clearly articulating the benefits and rationale for these changes. Based on this insight, you'll develop and execute a customized enablement and change management strategy designed to guide users smoothly through the transition.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver end-user training programs specifically tailored for customers following the implementation of Salesforce, AWS, or other related systems
  • Facilitate virtual and/or live training sessions and readiness activities, providing hands-on coaching and support during and after training sessions
  • Conduct needs analysis for each client to customize training content to their specific use-case and user profile
  • Develop engaging training materials, including user guides, tip sheets and quick reference guides, tutorials, and video content, to support the learning process
  • Lead or contribute to Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts, including stakeholder alignment, readiness assessments, and change agent enablement
  • Maintain clear communication and collaboration with internal Thunder teams and client business leads throughout the lifecycle of training development
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through weekly touchpoints and feedback survey data; iterate and adapt approaches accordingly
  • Develop and maintain a repository of training resources and documentation for ongoing client support
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Salesforce and AWS capabilities, features, and best practices, incorporating the latest into training modules

Qualifications:
  • 2–3+ years of experience designing and delivering Salesforce and/or AWS end-user training at a consulting firm, with a strong focus on developing engaging eLearning modules and digital enablement content
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce and its core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience), as well as Amazon Connect, Field Service and/or Revenue Cloud (preferred)
  • Experience training on Agentforce or other AI platforms (highly desirable)
  • Experience with video editing tools, virtual meeting platforms, and curriculum development tools (preferably Google Suite, Camtasia, Articulate, Audiate, Canva, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Mural).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and engagement
  • Ability to develop clear, concise, and user-friendly training materials
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple training schedules and projects at the same time
  • Apparent creativity and a knack for making the complex seem simple
  • Relevant Salesforce or AWS certifications preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
