KATBOTZ LLC is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Cloud Developer to design, develop, and enhance cloud-compliant applications within the SAP ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in ABAP Cloud Development, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), and modern SAP development practices. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver scalable and innovative SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP Cloud Development Model.

  • Build and enhance applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

  • Develop and consume OData Services, APIs, and integration interfaces.

  • Create and extend SAP Fiori applications in collaboration with UI developers.

  • Develop custom business objects, CDS Views, behaviors, and service definitions.

  • Implement clean-core compliant extensions for SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud.

  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Participate in system testing, deployment, and production support activities.

  • Maintain technical documentation and development artifacts.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA and ABAP Cloud development.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • ABAP Cloud

    • RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

    • Core Data Services (CDS)

    • OData Services

    • SAP BTP

    • SAP Fiori Integration

    • SAP Extension Suite

  • Experience with Eclipse ADT (ABAP Development Tools).

  • Knowledge of SAP authorization concepts and transport management.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

  • Knowledge of SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).

  • Exposure to SAP Integration Suite.

  • SAP BTP or SAP Development-related certifications.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
