Lead end-to-end cutover planning and execution for SAP S/4HANA deployments across warehouse, manufacturing, supply chain, and corporate functions. Own cutover strategies, governance, runbooks, schedules, mock cutovers, dependencies, risks, rollback plans, and executive reporting. Coordinate cross-functional teams, system integrators, vendors, and stakeholders; lead command centers during go-live; and manage hypercare transition. The role begins with one plant deployment and may expand across three additional sites.
This is a remote position.
About the role
We are looking for a senior SAP Cutover Lead to plan, coordinate and run cutover for SAP S/4HANA deployments, with a focus on Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Manufacturing. You will be the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, IT, implementation partners, plants and warehouse operations. Your job is to keep go-lives on schedule and operations running without disruption.
The engagement starts with a plant go-live. There is scope to take ownership of cutover across three more sites in a multi-plant rollout.
What you’ll do
- Build end-to-end cutover strategies across warehouse, manufacturing, supply chain and corporate functions.
- Define cutover governance, templates, milestone reviews and go/no-go decision processes.
- Own the detailed cutover plan, runbooks and deployment schedules, and manage critical path, dependencies and escalations.
- Lead cutover for SAP EWM warehouse go-lives and manufacturing plant deployments, including inventory conversion and production readiness.
- Plan and run multiple mock cutovers, then validate durations, sequencing and resourcing, and close out remediation items.
- Coordinate functional leads, architects, development, data migration, MDG, infrastructure, system integrators, vendors and the PMO.
- Run the command center during deployment, and manage the move into hypercare and the handover to support.
- Maintain risk and issue logs, contingency and rollback plans, and executive status reporting.
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years of SAP implementation experience.
- 5+ years leading SAP cutovers on large-scale programs.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP EWM go-lives and warehouse deployments.
- Experience supporting SAP Manufacturing deployments (PP, QM, Logistics Execution).
- A track record of multi-site or wave-based rollouts.
- Experience leading large cross-functional teams and working alongside system integrators.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making under pressure.
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
Benefits
Nice to have
- SAP EWM certification and/or PMP.
- Experience in food and beverage, CPG, manufacturing or distribution.
- Experience with high-volume warehouses and 24x7 manufacturing operations.
- Multiple successful SAP go-lives and enterprise cutovers.
