Develop advanced DRAM and emerging memory products while working with a highly innovative design team using state-of-the-art technologies. Verify high density memory chips with ultra-high speed, complex functionality, and advanced power management technologies. Evaluate full chip or block level functionality and provide solutions to help the delivery of functionally correct design. Work closely with Micron's global design and verification teams to contribute to the success of the design projects by applying verification tools and techniques, providing verification status and summaries to specific designs. Build cutting-edge verification platforms using advanced verification languages and techniques. Participate in creating full chip behavior models that are distributed to Micron's world-wide external customers. Build a verification plan, incorporating directed and random patterns that cover all features of a memory design.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field followed by 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a semiconductor design engineer-related occupation.
Position also requires experience in:
1. Verification languages (System Verilog) and methodologies (UVM)
2. Object-oriented design
3. Abstracting complex technical details into an easy-to-understand interface
4. Debugging and problem-solving
5. Scripting language to automate tasks
6. Defining coverage strategy and writing coverage models
7. ASIC or Memory verification
8. CMOS circuit design
