Job Description

The Senior Account Director will be tasked with leading and growing business with existing CPG clients across assigned territory, as well as uncovering new business opportunities. The individual will be selling Neptune’s comprehensive portfolio, including In Store Advertising, Digital Incentives, and Media solutions to deliver growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Employ effective selling strategies to successfully increase revenue across accounts in a way that is aligned with company goals and profitability requirements.
  • Manages relationships and negotiations at all levels of assigned region/accounts.
  • Secure meetings with senior-level decision makers to understand their business objective and how Neptune capabilities can help potential customers to achieve their goals, and to build out robust opportunity pipeline.
  • Drive adoption of Neptune solutions by creating client-centric campaigns utilizing the Neptune capabilities and resources to address client needs.
  • Ability to build recommendations based on data, insights, and financial forecasting models is essential.
  • Maintain a weekly cadence of forecasting and reporting to management.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability with tangible results and references to grow revenue through their own actions over at least three consecutive years
  • +3 years of recent sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
  • Passionate and driven by new business development and account growth potential
  • Self-starter with high-level of personal accountability who takes initiative and acts quickly within fast-paced environment
  • Success in building strong relationships with senior level decision makers
  • Highly analytical with demonstrated ability to leverage data to develop tailored solutions for clients
  • Ability to confidently communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of CPG and the retail industry

Location: US, Remote – Travel up to 25% of time, mostly Texas and some Chicago
