This is a high-energy, strategic role designed for a seasoned sales professional who excels at identifying, onboarding, and growing channel partners, electrical distributors, and value-added resellers (VARs).

As a Senior Channel Account Executive, you will own the Mid-West territory. You will be responsible for managing key regional relationships, driving partner enablement, and aggressively hunting for new distributor and installer partnerships to accelerate Wallbox’s sales growth. If you are passionate about the electric vehicle (EV) industry, possess a deep understanding of channel sales dynamics, and thrive on building powerful partner networks in the Mid-West, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel & Partner Development (New Business): Aggressively prospect, qualify, and onboard new regional channel partners, electrical distributors, value-added resellers (VARs), and certified EV installers across the Mid-West territory.
  • Strategic Partner Management & Enablement: Cultivate deep, long-term relationships with existing channel partners. Drive enablement programs, product training, and joint marketing initiatives to ensure partner sales teams are fully equipped to sell Wallbox solutions.
  • Joint Pipeline & Co-Selling: Collaborate with partners on joint business planning and co-selling initiatives. Secure Wallbox as the preferred EV charging brand within distributor portfolios and major commercial project pipelines.
  • Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the complete partner sales cycle—from prospecting and contract negotiation to joint account planning and onboarding. Help partners close high-value commercial and residential EV charging deals.
  • Mid-West Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor regional EV infrastructure trends, local utility rebate programs, and state/local policies in the Mid-West (e.g., Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, etc.) to position Wallbox and its partners as market leaders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Wallbox’s internal product, marketing, technical support, and operations teams to ensure seamless channel execution and first-class support for our partners.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven B2B channel sales or partner management experience, preferably within electrical distribution, EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy, or hardware sales.
  • Track Record: Proven history of consistently exceeding sales quotas, specifically through partner recruitment, enablement, and joint pipeline growth.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to engage both distributor headquarters and local branches. Highly organized and capable of managing a large, diverse geographic territory.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of the electrical distribution channel ecosystem or EV charging industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with local utility incentive structures in the Mid-West is a major plus.
  • Tools: Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and channel management tools.
  • Location & Travel: Based in the Mid-West region (Remote) (e.g., Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Columbus). Willingness to travel up to 40-50% within the territory for partner visits and industry events.

Benefits:

  • Compensation & Benefits Package – Industry-leading base salary, uncapped commission structure, and premium benefits.
  • 401k Plan with Company Contribution – Secure your future with our generous retirement plan.
  • Holiday and PTO Policy – Excellent work-life balance with the freedom and flexibility to excel.
  • Join a High-Energy, Dynamic Team – Be part of an innovative, fast-paced global leader shaping the future of sustainable energy.
  • Shape the Future & Build a Legacy – Take ownership of a critical, high-growth region and lead the EV transition in the American Heartland.
