Synopsis of the role

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for aggressively expanding our footprint in the fintech and payments ecosystem. This individual is the driving force behind identifying and securing new logo acquisitions and driving new revenue streams. By proactively identifying pain points and proposing innovative solutions, they deliver significant value to new customers—helping them increase revenue, drive efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction—while ensuring every new partnership generates the strategic outcomes required for long-term growth.

What you’ll do

  • Proactively establish and broaden relationships within Portfolio driving double digit growth

  • Relentlessly identify and prospect for new logo opportunities to expand market share

  • Drive the full sales cycle for new accounts, from aggressive cold outreach to contract execution and onboarding

  • Build and manage a robust, high-velocity pipeline of new business to ensure consistent revenue growth

  • Leverage deep understanding of the Fintech and Payment ecosystems to establish credibility and influence with new prospects

  • Maintain strong sales governance on all activities and exemplify exceptional professionalism and responsiveness

  • Consistently crush sales targets by maintaining a proactive, accurate forecast and managing potential risks before they impact deal velocity.

What experience you need 

  • Proven track record of new business acquisition and track record for securing net new logos within financial services or fintech industry

  • 7-10 years of relevant revenue driving experience

  • Extensive business knowledge of the financial services industry and their challenges in Canada 

  • Experience in information services and/or marketing, credit and risk management

  • Experience in working within a matrixed team and driving results and communicating difficult concepts to influence others to adopt a different point of view

  • External network within the industry to drive influence and credibility

  • Ability to utilize sophisticated critical thinking skills to work through complex problems and negotiations

  • Capable of summarizing issues and keeping calm when under pressure and dealing with senior executives

What could set you apart

  • Advanced expertise in modern sales methodologies and a proven history of managing complex, high-velocity sales cycles within the fintech ecosystem

  • Working experience and/or sales experience with Canadian Fintechs

  • Salesforce.com power user with advanced capability in pipeline management

  • Proven ability to leverage AI-powered tools for prospecting, including identifying high-value targets, performing deep-dive client research, and personalizing outreach at scale
