The Senior Account Executive will manage a full book of business, drive sales in packaging consumables, and achieve aggressive revenue targets through consultative selling and strong vendor relationships.
We're looking for a hunter. This is a greenfield seat at a growing brokerage building out an ancillary packaging division alongside an established pallet and logistics operation. You'll own a full book from day one — sourcing suppliers, setting pricing, managing margin, and closing net-new business.
What you'll do
- Build a $5M ARR book within 12 months through consultative, contract-based selling of ancillary packaging consumables (stretch film, strapping, corrugated, foam, poly bags, edge board, tape, shrink wrap)
- Own both sides of every deal: vendor sourcing and customer pricing
- Conduct on-site packaging audits and design managed programs with consolidated invoicing, scheduled replenishment, and annual pricing reviews
- Run QBRs with key accounts and drive category expansion within your book
- Cross-sell into pallets and freight for the right candidate
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of B2B outside sales in industrial packaging, jan/san, MRO, or adjacent distribution
- Brokerage or asset-light model experience with a clear understanding of spread and margin management
- Proven track record building or growing a $2M+ book through net-new hunting, not just account maintenance
- Experience selling managed programs and MSAs rather than catalog or transactional deals
- No need for a lead gen engine or SDR support to fill your own pipeline
Bonus points if you have an existing supplier network across film, strapping, corrugated, or protective categories and can source competitively from day one.
Not a fit if you've only sold from a fixed price sheet, need SDR support, or are looking for a farming role.
CRM discipline and EOS familiarity are a plus. Competitive base plus uncapped commission.
