As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving strategic execution and mentorship within our client success team. You will serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, overseeing the development and execution of high-impact digital marketing strategies that align with their business goals. Beyond client management, you will mentor and support Account Managers and Marketing Assistants, helping them refine their approach to client relationships, campaign execution, and problem-solving.
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of Scorpion’s products, platforms, and digital marketing strategies across SEO, paid advertising, social media, and more. You will proactively identify growth opportunities, guide clients through complex marketing initiatives, and ensure seamless collaboration across teams to drive measurable success.
What your success will look like- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with Private Equity groups, CEOs, Board of Directors, and their portfolio companies.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with client business objectives and drive growth.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Provide expert guidance on digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and other online marketing channels.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, preparing regular reports and presentations for clients.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Presentation and Communication: Deliver compelling presentations and communicate effectively with senior-level executives and stakeholders.
- Client Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of client satisfaction as measured by client feedback and retention rates.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed revenue targets for assigned accounts.
- Strategic Goal Alignment: Successfully align digital marketing strategies with clients' business goals, resulting in measurable outcomes.
- Account Retention: Ensure long-term client retention by providing exceptional service and value.
- Performance Improvement: Demonstrate continuous improvement in account performance metrics.
- Sales Support: Support our PE Group Sales team where needed to close new Private Equity Business.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience:
- 4+ years of professional experience in client-facing account management.
- 1+ year of professional experience supporting private equity or private equity-backed clients, or managing a portfolio of strategic or high-value accounts with direct accountability for revenue performance.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships, understand their needs, and deliver results.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to execute client strategies.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, strategies, and tactics, including SEO, social media, and paid advertising
- Strong understanding of business principles and practices, with experience in dealing with Private Equity groups preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and foster client trust.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills, ensuring effective budget management and proactive problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for mentoring and developing team members.
- Eagerness to learn new tools, platforms, and industry best practices.
- Travel: This role involves travel for partnership QBRs, team gatherings, and industry events. The frequency of travel may vary depending on business priorities and timing.

- The base salary range is $95,000 (entry-level) - $110,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
- The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
