At SDL, the Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end revenue cycle, including billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient cash flow management. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to optimize revenue processes and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing and Revenue Management (including ARR)
• • Manage and oversee the billing and invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness, which includes understanding CRM (HubSpot) processes.
  • Lead collections efforts to minimize outstanding receivables and improve cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606) and internal policies.
  • Work with third party resellers to timely prepare quotes and track payments
• Financial Reporting & Accounting
• • Review and Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Oversee month-end close process, account reconciliations and review for accurate coding (GL and departments)
  • Review budget to actual to understand variances
  • Analyze financial data, trends, and variances  
  • Coordinate with external auditors; prepare required supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and proper filings

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance required.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, revenue operations and billing.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and billing platforms.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).

• Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000 plus bonus
• Status: Full Time/Exempt
