SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen and scale our financial operations and reporting. In this hands-on role, you will own month-end close and handle daily accounting activities. You will build scalable systems and provide insights that support strategic decision-making, working closely with the VP of Finance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys refining and building processes, and is excited to contribute to a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance

    • Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including consolidations, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

    • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

    • Maintain documentation for reporting and investor requirements

    • Support tax preparation and filings

  • Accounting Operations & Systems:

    • Build and implement accounting processes, systems, and internal controls

    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger management

    • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and documentation to support compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Strategic & Operational Support

    • Perform monthly flux and variance analysis

    • Collaborate with the VP of Finance and leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models

    • Conduct financial analysis and provide ad-hoc reporting and support as needed to inform decision-making and drive business growth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred

  • Big four or national firm experience preferred but not required

  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in an early or growth stage environment

  • Strong operational experience with Proficiency with ERP systems and processes.

  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Experience with an MSO-PC model accounting is a plus
