About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to build and own our accounting function. You will be the go-to expert for all things accounting and compliance, making sure our books are accurate, our controls are strong, and our systems are ready to scale as we grow.

Things you will do:

  • Own the month-end and quarter-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting

  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP

  • Build, document, and maintain internal controls to conduct a first year audit in accordance with GAAP, ASC 606, etc.

  • Own accounts payable end to end – vendor setup, invoice coding and approvals, and payment runs

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and key balance sheet accounts, including accounts payable and accrued expenses

  • Partner with Finance, RevOps, and other teams to ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition

  • Support implementation, integration, and optimization of ERPs and modern SaaS finance tools while managing day-to-day accounting operations

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big Four or similar) and in-house experience at a tech or SaaS company

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with deep familiarity with ASC 606 and core SaaS accounting concepts

  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement support

  • Audit and compliance experience, including internal controls design, documentation, and external audit preparation

  • Proficiency with major ERPs, Excel / Google Sheets, Rippling

  • An ownership mindset, high attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast paced startup environment

We offer great compensation and many other benefits including:

  • Base Salary of $170,000-200,000

  • 100% Medical, dental, and vision

  • 28 days of paid time off (PTO)

  • A remote-first culture allows you to work virtually anywhere

📖 Be open. Being open provides context people need to make great decisions. Openness builds trust, showing progress creates momentum, and open learnings from failures help us get better.

💪 Have freedom and ownership. Giving people freedom instead of developing processes to prevent them from using their own judgement, creates better decision making and accountability. To give people freedom they must have the skills, context, and ownership mentality to solve problems self-directed.
