About the Role
Cloudflare is looking for a bright, proactive, and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to support three key VP-level leaders within our Places and People Teams. Specifically, you will support the leaders of Global Real Estate & Workplace, Recruiting, and Total Rewards.
Reporting directly to the Head of Global Real Estate & Workplace, you will be a true operational partner. We are looking for a dynamic candidate who can master complex logistics, handle sensitive information with grace, and ensure our leaders can focus on supporting Cloudflare's most important asset: our people. This role requires an individual who is comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritization in a fast-speed environment with close attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
What You'll Do
  • Master the Calendar Tetris: Proactively manage and de-conflict three complex executive calendars. You understand that a meeting isn't just a time slot - it has context. You will prioritize with purpose, ensuring VPs have necessary travel buffers, work blocks, and prep time.
  • Gatekeeping & Prioritization: Act as the first line of defense. You will field internal and external meeting requests and use independent judgment to escalate urgent matters or resolve routine inquiries yourself, ensuring the VPs' time is focused on high-impact work.
  • Global Travel & Logistics: Coordinate international and domestic travel arrangements (including flights, hotels, and visas) and manage the subsequent expense reports. You will ensure the team is prepared for offsites, office visits, and business travel.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: As you will support leaders across Recruiting and Total Rewards, you will frequently handle highly sensitive information regarding organizational structure, compensation, and people. Maintaining the highest level of integrity is the cornerstone of this role.
  • Operational Excellence: Go beyond the day-to-day. You will handle procurement and expenses while identifying process improvements to make the VPs' offices run more efficiently. You will also assist with special projects, executive presentations, data analysis, and help organize team offsites and events.
  • Relationship Building: Serve as a bridge between teams. You will foster strong relationships with other Admins, EAs, and cross-functional partners in Finance, Legal, IT, and other teams. You will partner closely with the EA to the Chief People Officer, acting as a culture carrier for the team.

Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a high-growth tech environment or a fast-paced corporate setting. Experience supporting multiple VPs simultaneously is highly preferred.
  • Discretion: Demonstrated ability to handle the most sensitive information with confidentiality, professionalism, and tact.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) is essential. Experience with Workday and travel management tools (like Navan) is a major plus.
  • Adaptability: You remain cool under pressure and are comfortable with a "no task is too small" attitude. You can pivot quickly when priorities change.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: You don't wait to be told what to do; you anticipate needs-such as checking flight times against meeting constraints or prepping materials ahead of a busy week.

Organizational Mastery: A strong sense of urgency and the ability to hit the ground running with limited or no supervision.
